with insurance companies.
Shawna’s extensive career in healthcare includes a significant tenure at Cox Health, where she served as a Registered Respiratory Therapist from Summer 1998 to Spring
2023. She specialized in adult critical care and was certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Additionally, Shawna demonstrated leadership as a fill-in team leader and shift supervisor.
Her educational background is equally impressive. Shawna earned her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2024, where she was a member of the Phi
Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and participated in the International Summer Law School program, “Doing Deals Across the World: Advising Global Entrepreneurs.” Prior to her legal studies, she obtained a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from Missouri State University in 2008. Shawna also holds a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from Southwest Missouri State University, earned in 2003.
