New Senior Associate Attorney Brittany E. O’Brien

RMS welcomes a new Senior Associate Attorney! Brittany E. O’Brien comes to RMS from the Greene County, Missouri Juvenile Office where she worked for five years as a staff attorney. While at the Juvenile Office, Brittany was involved in all aspects of both child dependency and juvenile delinquency cases. In 2014, Brittany successfully argued in front of the Missouri Supreme Court, in case J.A.R. v. D.G.R., 426 S.W.3d 624 (Mo. 2014). Prior to the Juvenile Office, Brittany practiced at a mid-sized general litigation firm.
Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations with an Economics emphasis from the University of the Pacific where she graduated with honors. Brittany obtained her Juris Doctorate from Tulane University in 2003.
Brittany’s practice includes family law, juvenile law, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, estate planning, creditor’s rights, and real estate. She is admitted to practice in the State of Missouri and the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri. She is a member of the Missouri Bar Association and the Southern Missouri Women Lawyers Association. Brittany is an approved Guardian ad Litem and is presently training to be a civil and family law mediator.
When not working, Brittany enjoys reading, nature walks, watching LSU football, and going to Kansas City Royals’ games with her husband Bill.
